Review: Wyld THC gummies

I have a confession. I have tried Wyld THC gummies before, back during my time in Colorado. I specifically recall thinking they were pretty weak compared to the other options, but I did my very best to approach this test with an open mind. How did they perform in a Minnesota setting?
Wyld THC gummies Test 1 (10 mg)
The first thing you need to know, particularly if you just impulsively bought this product without reading the label (cough), is that each gummy has 10 mg of THC (and 5 mg of CBN). So, no Minnesota 5 mg doses here, unless you want to get out an exacto knife and make your own. And, obviously, each package only has five gummies as a result.
A meal of tilapia and steamed veggies accompanied this test – not exactly the THC ideal, but I can’t eat rotisserie chicken five nights a week, man.
Onset took just a hair under 30 minutes and I hit peak buzz right around the one-hour mark. The tilapia factor notwithstanding, this was a slightly below average buzz for a 10 mg dose.
On the plus side, the elderberry gummies taste wonderful. I’m still unclear on why so many gummies taste awful, but these people have figured it out.
Test 2 (10 mg)
A THC-friendly rotisserie chicken was acquired for this test in the interest of fairness. As always, the chicken slowed down onset slightly, which was about 35 minutes, with peak buzz arriving at exactly the one-hour mark.
This test was closer to what I expect from a 10 mg test. My buzz was comfortably in the average zone for Minnesota edibles. It might be on the high side for a weeknight for people new to edibles, though.
I should add that I got a late start for both tests and therefore wasn’t able to gauge the staying power.
Also, I did not detect a hangover the morning after each test, which is always appreciated.
The straight dope on Wyld THC gummies
While they performed better than expected, overall this product is merely average. However, I’m willing to forgive middling performance for a $19.99 price tag, so ultimately this is an above average value.
