Review: Find Wunder THC drinks

Find Wunder THC

We’ve struggled to accurately and fairly review micro dose (5 mg of THC or less) beverages here at High Gear Labs. Our scoring system just wasn’t made for it. We’ll have to sort that out someday, but for now we have the “higher vibes” version of Find Wunder THC drinks, containing 10 mg of THC, to fill that void – literally.

Test 1 (10 mg)

It appears that Find Wunder THC drinks are able to skirt the 5 mg per dose limit on beverages by selling a resealable can. Or at least that’s what it says on the can and website. When one is actually looking at a can, one cannot determine how to reseal it, unless one is expected to provide their own cling wrap and rubber bands. Well, I wasn’t planning to drink just 5 mg anyway.

I washed down a rotisserie chicken with the full 10 mg of THC. My dinner was interrupted, so it took about 40 minutes to finish the whole can. That interruption may explain why 40 minutes passed after I finished the can before I felt the first tingle of a buzz. I’m going to blame myself for that, as their website insists that onset is usually quite speedy.

But when onset finally started, it came on fast. I went from sober to an advanced work night buzz in only about five minutes. There was a small, late spike about 45 minutes later that brought me to perhaps the most powerful 10 mg THC beverage buzz I’ve enjoyed yet. A 10 mg does of an edible usually hits harder, but gulping down a couple gummies isn’t especially social.

I detected only a slight fade two hours after the initial buzz, but I went to bed soon afterward, so I can’t speak to the staying power. According to their website, the effects last about an hour and that’s definitely low-balling it.

The straight dope on Find Wunder THC drinks

A single 10 mg can will be enough for most people, unless you’re looking to get a serious weekend buzz going. The price is right and the blackberry lemon flavor is wonderful.

Oddly, buying a single can from Hemp House ($4.99) is less expensive than buying bulk on the Find Wunder website ($69.95 for a 12-pack, or $5.83 per can).

SCORES:

Potency: 4

Price: 4 ($4.99 per can on the Hemp House website)

Value: 4

Far Out, Man Ratio: 4

Total: 16 out of 20

Scoring system is a 1 to 5 range, with 1 being “meh,” and 5 being “Fuck yeah.”
